  I don't even know what to say. I only ever watched Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981) until I saw Halloween (2018) at the theater. Knowing I was watching Halloween 6 for Hooptober, I had to catch up and watch 3 through 5. I can honestly say that I think Halloween 2018 ignoring all the other sequels was a good choice, because this went off the rails.

  The Dungeonmaster 1984

  Day 5 of Hooptober 2019

  This was a strange one. I thoroughly enjoyed this 80's-oozing movie, and I went into it knowing almost nothing. When the credits rolled, and I saw that each segment was directed by a different person, the whole thing made so much more sense. This is such a weird way to frame an anthology film, but the whole "Dungeonmaster challenges the hero" worked surprisingly well.
