    Charlie Chaplin!!
Corn scene and Cocaine scene had me lol'ing big in 2025!!!
I now have a crush on Paulette Goddard who I guess passed away before I was even born at age 79. Isn't that interesting how that can happen??
Super Bad Ass that Charlie wrote the theme music!!! Which later became a hit for the great Nat King Cole as "Smile"

This movie deserves more stars of course but it was daylight savings last night and it made me kind of sleepy. MAGICAL to see this on big screen though tell you what.

    absolutely remarkable documentary!!
I had the privilege of seeing this on big screen with a director Q&A after.
I think I prefer the original runtime because it's lean and mean. But as a fan... I loved seeing 40 new minutes and a new perspective narrating. Normalize having the tambourine player narrate your documentaries!!

I’m excited to announce my first film review on the Letterboxd mobile application!   The name of my first review is “Airplane!” which is the same name as the film.  Hopefully that isn’t confusing for my voracious readers.

My review is as follows... you kind of had to be there lol. But the film made me laugh several times!   Some things intended to make me laugh did not make me laugh.  Fortunately I was able to laugh again…

    ★★

    The movie is bad!
But it's the kind of bad that would be really fun to watch with friends and make quips intermittently. Quips like "What?!" Or "...Okay?"

I watched the film alone, and made quips under my breath, and they were very funny! I wish you could have been there.

(Not to flex but I watched this on laser disc)
