Black Bag 2025
I didn’t really have expectations for this one until I heard about it recently. It’s better than my initial instinct but doesn’t meet the intensity of the trailers.
The first act gripped me very well and the story it tells is intriguing and original enough, but is pretty messily handled in act three.
The cast lives up to their reputations and there are some pretty fantastic dynamics and scenes. The tone of those scenes could’ve been utilized better throughout and this film probably needed a little more time to breathe toward the ending.

Question for the 111K people that have majority share of ratings at 4/5 right now: why?
The film was very interesting, and then it was less interesting, then it was boring, then it was annoying. Every twist was for the worse, boiling the plot into nonsense. Think about anything in this for 5 seconds and the entire premise falls apart.
Characters had zero depth and existed just to exist and be plot-twist devices. An incredible amount of dialogue that means…
