I had forgotten the scene, during Reynolds' first mushroom episode, when he sees his mother standing in the bedroom in her wedding gown, and then Alma comes through the door, so that, for a moment, the two women are side-by-side. Incredible stuff. (Also, the things I would do to get my hands on that orchid-colored dress he makes for Alma early on...)
