The Iron Claw 2023
This utterly heartbreaking story is an incredible example of the influence parents have on their children, and vice versa. To watch the toxicity of the parenting of the Von Trapp boys as the father continued to be oblivious to the pain he was causing his family was devastating. However watching as Kevin's sons began to heal his inner child, all the while putting an end to the family's toxicity and misfortune was so moving. Safe to say I audibly sobbed in the theater, and all the way home! And don't even get me started on the stairwell shot and the river scene... WOW. Must watch!
