I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. Cannot deny the Avatar Last Airbender vibes it gives, especially with that opening. Has good message and good, kid-friendly action! I like the symbolism of how people are posed when turned to stone. That pose could be how someone humbly and respectfully offers something to another, and how one receives something humbly and respectfully from another, which illustrates the themes of trust well.

I liked that the human counterparts had a minimal role compared to Team Sonic. I don't love that they are reducing knuckles to the dumb "I see I punch" type of character.
