Had never seen this cult classic. Pleasantly surprised with how well the practical effects look for a movie from 1985. A fun one to watch during Halloween season for sure, maybe even a top contender to watch on Halloween if you want something light.

I’ll start by saying that I enjoyed the change of pace Sound of Metal brought to the screen. Instead of worrying about capturing the audience's attention with fancy cinematography it instead finds its place by putting the camera in the perfect spot and letting the scene unfold.
