  don't give a shit I don't care Brad Pitt and tom cruise gay subtext is funny as fuck to watch. Will say it does disrespect what the source material but separate from that it's a cheesy fun movie

  dafoe carried once again. Amazing performance and filming and sets but god it's just so weirdly sexual and I'm not a smelly enough film nerd to "understand" why that's awesome.

  Well, this movie reminded me that Nicholas Cage is a damn good actor. My favorite scene was either the ending scene with the smile or the bathroom scene. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and thought it was a ride for sure.
  The psychedelic imagery and slow pace was interesting and I liked the change of pace. I wouldn't say it's something I loved, but I liked it for the novelty.
  I felt like the style of the movie was inconsistent.…

  First things first, this is some of the best cinematography I have ever seen. They filmed the whole movie on film which is awesome. I also love the mansion they used it's so cool.

  Now for the actual plot... it's funky... I enjoyed the acting and the twists and turns are pretty good but it is kind of just shock value. There were also parts this just didn't make sense that a character acted that way. Overall it's still worth a watch though I truly couldn't see where it was going which I like.
