    good but leaves me wishing tarantino did more with this. maybe the most liberty he's taken with something in terms of the storytelling, but the formless route he took felt a bit short of something better. I respect the direction but overall wasn't something that hit for me. What did hit though was Leo & Brad Pitt in this, both stellar as always.

    Scorsese does shit in this movie that i have never seen a director do. he's been doing this literally forever and still is breaking new ground it's unreal. Same can be said with DiCaprio in this tbh, easily one of his best performances (if not his best) - he portrays Ernest in a way that makes him feel genuinely cursed by the end of it all. Not even human, just a shell of regret constantly circled by flies like vultures over a rotted carcass.
