Last Tango in Paris 1972
When Marlon Brando's character wife commits suicide, an emotional crisis takes over him and he starts to meet a young woman in an empty apartment for acts of passionless sex. It's the only medium he can use to feel something. Probably one of the greatest performances of Marlon Brando, acting with brutality but needy at the same time, crazy and random. All to showcase his grief. Last Tango in Paris is a character piece more than an actually enjoyable movie.

The Green Mile 1999
The Green Mile is emotional and technically well executed, the performances stand out as well, specially Michael Clarke Duncan. A bittersweet ending such as the story of Jesus, but hope everlasting.
