    Last Tango in Paris

    ★★★

When Marlon Brando's character wife commits suicide, an emotional crisis takes over him and he starts to meet a young woman in an empty apartment for acts of passionless sex. It's the only medium he can use to feel something. Probably one of the greatest performances of Marlon Brando, acting with brutality but needy at the same time, crazy and random. All to showcase his grief. Last Tango in Paris is a character piece more than an actually enjoyable movie.

    K-PAX

    ★★★

Kpax makes us wonder about the small things in the view of a alien being in earth. The suspense of discovering the past behind the alien man is also compelling. I had watched this movie decades ago and I still remembered some parts of it, specially the ending.

    ★★★★

The Green Mile is emotional and technically well executed, the performances stand out as well, specially Michael Clarke Duncan. A bittersweet ending such as the story of Jesus, but hope everlasting.

Solaris is a philosophical meditation, probably the most structured film from Andrei Tarkovsky, what possibly makes it one of his best films. It delves in in themes such as memories, Human connection to nature and self delusion.
