  I'm definitely not the first to have this thought, but was surprised by how Romero-y this felt. Went into this blind and was really shocked at the first *intense* scene. Nobody does a score like Carpenter.

  Still processing, but wow what a movie. I wasn't prepared for that score! What an absolute pleasure to see this in 70mm (and with 70mm pod friends to boot). The very last bit didn't quite hit for me, but I can't deny this is 5/5 filmmaking.

  I think I technically may have seen this one before, but I couldn't remember it so I'm pretending this was a first viewing. Wild to watch this for the "first" time in 2025. Absolutely loved the way we got the plot of the crime through the retelling of the jurors. It's incredible that Lumet was able to build this level of suspense through dialogue alone. I will always be a sucker for a bottle movie.
