Mat Kilau 2022
80% fight scenes 20% screaming.
I didn’t learn anything about Mat Kilau. The first 5 minutes was a glimpse to the next 1 hour plus of the same repeated pattern of bad guy good guy screaming and fighting and shooting and screaming. The plot was all just screamed at to the audience. I don’t need to be told what’s going to happen, do a better job at storytelling.
I pity the audio recorder person who has to listen to all the screaming on the shoot. I would also fire the sound designer for overusing the punching SFX. I get it, you’re fighting.
