  How to Blow Up a Pipeline 2022

  Subverts expectations if viewer is used to Western cinema plottwists and turns. Also, I'm grateful that even though it's aggressive (and it should be, no question about it), the urgency and message, although clear, it isn't vexingly forced down the audiences throat. It's a really well done, suspenseful and engaging film. Edge of your seat sort of thing with very real very high stakes.

  I really think the most incredible thing about this film is that it got made. I would have loved to have been in the room when this was pitched. And it is an absolutely stunning film, but my god is it bizarre. It is strange to care about characters and disagree with their dietary plans on such a fundamental level. It is an almost extraterrestrial roadtrip film, and with most roadtrip films (including this one) the jewels are the characters you meet along the way.
