this just made me realize i have a stronger fear of tornadoes then i thought.... the phone footage of this was absolutely terrifying. the resilience of Joplin is soooo inspirational. i love a good insightful documentary

i have play trauma after growing up on Tyler Perry plays so i was terrified to sit through this at first but wowwwww they have gained a new fan. this was phenomenal. you could genuinely feel every emotion they were trying to convey through their acting to the point i genuinely forgot that was ariana grande MISS PONYTAIL on the screen for a few secs. there were some parts where i was like 💤💤💤 but i stuck through it to the end. would definitely watch again, cant wait for part 2. the 6th grade old theatre kid version of me is screaming rn.
