It’s okay overall. 

If it were an indie film it would be classic, as a film with a budget it’s bland.

Most reviews are right. There is no punch or development, just an overly produced rollercoaster that is fun if you’ve never seen/read its predecessors. 

I haven’t read Salems lot but now that I’ve seen this movie I don’t plan to, so that is probably its greatest sin. I didn’t feel like my time was wasted watching it though.

Perfect movie. No notes. These people get it. Thaaank God, finaaallly.

This is a complete masterpiece. The visuals alone are awe inspiring. It’s a miracle just how elevated every aspect of this two parter has been. 

Just one thing... Who cast Christopher Walken? He is an amazing actor but everytime he had a line of dialogue I chuckled. I’m sure Joe Pesci was their second choice for the emperor.

Come for the True True, stay for the Hanks. 

This is both the highest peak the Wachoskis have reached in certain aspects and also the shows their slump in others.

It’s definitively an epic in scale and length and skill. It should be more than a forgotten cult classic.
