  Stylishly directed and fun as hell. Lawrence and Smith still have great chemistry and that more than makes up for the admittedly pedestrian script. And my man Reggie!!!!!

  My favorite of the "Xerox look" animated movies that started with 101 Dalmatians, because at least this one used the classic painted backgrounds like the 1940's and 50's Disney films.

  What can I say that hasn't already been said? Everything about this movie works.

  Main cast is excellent, but I also love the smaller characters that really feel authentically New England. It gives the movie a tremendous sense of place even though Amity is fictional.

  Music: The shark theme is obviously legendary. But how about those 2-3 sea shanty like secondary themes? Fantastic.

  Pace: every scene is crucial to plot or character development, and main set pieces are evenly placed. Climax is as big as a movie like this needs and it doesn't overstay its welcome.
