One of the most painfully beautiful endings. She cries as they vow to one another and he cries when she breaks those vows. the daughter runs after her dad and begs him to stay and he walks away. But as he says at the beginning, women are more cynical about love. Men promise to never get married but do it anyway. Perhaps he just chose a selfish woman? Or she settled as he himself believes? Maybe it’s hurts so much because it means something or it meant nothing at all when all is said and done? Either way this is heart wrenching.
