Commercial cinema at it’s finest form
Dulquer and Atluri delivers the usual rags to riches story in a very engaging manner. This is the form of storytelling which I want the current A listers in Tollywood and Kollywood to be a part of.
It’s filled with emotions, has a banger interval block, hero rising from the lowest of lows and reaching abnormal levels of greatness, giving it back to his enemies but he doesn’t deliver any fancy punchlines or engages in any sort of combat. This is what makes the film so good

Weakest Vetri Maaran film
All I wanted was a riveting follow up to part 1 but here we get a film that’s nothing but preachy. VM has read too much and him seeing himself as a political reformer is applause worthy stuff but that doesn’t mean he can dump messages. Actors come in recite dialogues, continues to speak them, sometimes speak stuff that they’ve already spoken about and continue speaking even if the scene doesn’t demand them to speak
