As an usual Shakespearean play, this film was made highly metaphorical. Joel Coen's efforts to make it different and better than others can be clearly seen though.

The cinematography and artstyle was really great. Even the story was written pretty well. With having all of these good, it ultimately fails in the narration. this film is a literal compilation of many philosophical notions like love, lust, poetry, teenage love, jealousy, misinterpretation, war, betrayal and so and so.
i was amazed by the extensive storytelling with this amount of philosophical values which is bined with a shakespearean coded drama.
as giving enough space to explore these logical notions, the screenplay was perfect.
while talking about screenplay, this is one of the best applications of the rashomon effect, the effect of the two realities has been written well in this film.
the cast is incredible, almost every character is perfect.
a very well written, well made and a well casted film!
