Y’know what, Ill defend this film. Its a fun family adventure film that took the great elements of the first film and ran with it, maybe a little too much sometimes.

Arthur and Orm are great, reminiscent of Thor and Loki’s dynamics in Ragnarok. Manta was menacing, truly a comic book villain. The action scenes were great except for the ending trident fight which clearly was pure CGI complete with the floaty 3D camera.

Hopefully the new DC universe can start better than how the DCEU ended

A charming story told through a compelling child protagonist seeing the world through innocent but imaginative eyes. I agree with some people though that they couldve dropped the framing device altogether.

Seems like they had the opportunity to cast Dingdong but didnt have the budget to afford him for 2 hours and fly him to bicol so they wrote around it. Still though, great performances all around

I dont know how I'll recover from this show. And here I thought my christmas couldnt get colder.
