    Watching one of these a year has been a recent tradition but a wildly fun one. A beautiful trainwreck of a franchise that allows Warwick Davis to shine. This entry is a bunch of film references and a side story that predicted the substance all in Vegas baby. And that straight to video rental quality is soaring here too. It has more charm than 90% of straight to streamers lol.

    I had fun but I would say this sort of plot was always meant for the television medium. Now I’m coming out as a fan of the Netflix tv adaptation(/spin-off?). I will say though, McConaughey’s Mickey Pearson is a more interesting lead compared to James’s Eddie Horniman. But then again, Susie Glass is more of an analog to Pearson, and man do I love her take a younger, even more patient archetype of the crime boss…..ok I’m rambling on about a show that is actually quiet different from its movie predecessor, and now I want to rewatch that!
