Persepolis is an animated movie about Marjane, an Iranian girl's life. It carries the message that we should not forget our roots and origins. The movie follows Marjane's (Marji's) life. Marji is a curious girl who's not afraid to express her thoughts. She fights for what she believes is right. She goes through loss and a lot of change in her life.
One thing I loved about the movie was the transition between scenes. It was animated really well. It was able to give us the perspective of a young girl in Iran during the revolution.
