North by Northwest 1959
I went into North by Northwest having only watched one other Hitchcock film (The Birds) which I didn't really like, however I really enjoyed all 2 hours and 17 minutes of this film. I would definitely consider North by Northwest to be one of the best movies I've seen. The soundtrack was also quite good and reminded me of Philip Glass.

Koyaanisqatsi 1982
It is difficult to put into words how this film makes you feel. It's a feeling of dread; a sense of powerlessness against how fast our modern world goes by and how fast we are destroying what made us human. Philip Glass' unique compositional style suits this film incredibly well. Watching the world go by to his sweeping arpeggios and ostinato basslines makes for a deep and emotional experience. This film is an artistic masterpiece, but it's not something I'd likely watch again. For that reason I am only giving it 4/5 stars
