The mischievous smirk on the escalator stall cements Sean Pablo as the Harmony Korine of professional skateboarding. Hippie jump over the convertible during the Mike Arnold part was hard. Likewise Koston’s debauchery while basically filming a commercial for the 3D EDGLRD decks. I have mixed feelings about the levels of deep fried computer animations overlayed over everything and the demonic baby firing squad but the actual skate clips speak for themselves and the thrilling conclusion soundtracked by Alphaville pushes it to the point of being maybe the first great skate video of 2025.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- 2025
The first third and the back two thirds are for two completely different anime audiences but at any rate the animation looks great and the music slaps. There are some story moments that feel a little bit unearned here and there too but it still has enough fun elements to make a good Gundam film overall.
