Honestly idek how to rate this it was like the stupidest movie I’ve ever seen but also tons of fun. I got kinda emotional more than once and laughed a little. Some lines were extremely stupid, the plot was stupid. But it seemed to be self-aware of that.

This film could not decide whether to be an action thriller or small-town drama. It had a great setting and music but a dodgy script with generic cop-outs. Characters weren’t nearly developed enough for me to care about moments that might have been very emotional otherwise. There’s probably a great film in here somewhere, but I don’t know that it worked for me.
This is one of those films where anything less than five stars is doing it a disservice.
Such a brilliant film. It delivers on every level. I really appreciate when a script doesn’t assume its audience is dumb, because the way they present this story is so incredibly clever. That cry of terror will actually be embedded in my brain for a long time. Phenomenal performances and gut wrenching emotional themes that will definitely stick with you. What a masterful film.
