  WELL I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT A X + PEARL DOUBLE FEATURE WITH A TI WEST Q&A BUT THEN BEFORE PEARL WAS SUPPOSED TO START HE WAS LIKE “what if we played Maxxxine and made you guys the first audience to see it” AND THEN DID.

  i’m not gonna give a real review since you peasants still have like 2 more weeks to see it and i don’t wanna ruin it so i’ll wait, but it’s fucking incredible.

  Bong Joon Ho is a fucking beast. entirely unsubtle about its political messaging but so much fun and so funny at the same time, could use the same exact sentence about The Host, which i’m very glad i watched just a little while ago because they’re very similar. Pattinson is a real force in this, i’ll watch whatever he continues to do he just picks such incredible projects and dives into them hard. the supporting cast, specifically Ruffalo and Collette are chewing up every scene they get. i really loved the vfx, every little creeper looked so great.
