Maybe a little too soon. But this was good.

Forgot how good this one is.

A few thoughts;

I am not entirely sure what I just watched, but it felt like a masterpiece; it felt profound.  Not unlike “The Cause” itself, perhaps.  The movie working as a reflection of the topic itself.

This might have one of the best casts of any movie I have seen.

I am really glad I got to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman in such a role.  I am really glad I got to see Jesse Plemons play his son.

That’s all I’ve got for now.

PTA sure does like to omit a cut when he can.  I love it.

Look, I am incapable of rating the prequels fairly.  

That being said, I do believe this was the blueprint for what would become MCU Summer blockbusters.  I don’t know if that is necessarily a good or bad thing, but it is significant.
