Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story 2024
“What is a hero? My answer used to be that a hero is someone who commits a courageous action without considering the consequences.
Now, my definition is completely different: I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”
I never realized how impactful the late Christopher Reeve, and the ongoing work of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, has been in bringing visibility and support to differently abled people—particularly those living with paraplegia and quadriplegia.
This film cracked me open and inspired me. It’s well worth a good cry on a long-haul flight.
