  Felt like they skipped out on the total brutality of the shower scene. I think the throwing of the sanitary products at carrie & the yelling is a lot more gutterally mean & in turn a lot more traumatic than just the yelling. 1976 & 2013 portrayed it a lot better.

  I actually haven’t finished this yet I’m just going off the vibes. I like that certain aspects are more loyal to the book but then some of it I’m like …. What??? I wish this scene wasn’t added. Especially the scene with Carrie & Sue with the lipstick. I wish this confrontation didn’t happen.

  They woke up after a crazy night in Vegas, all claiming not to remember the whole night:

  Shepley: “I fingered Travis”
  Mare (his girlfriend): “what?🤔”
  Abby (Travis’ girlfriend): “what?🧐”
  Travis: “What?🤨”

  The plot went everywhere and nowhere it was so bad the only ppl I cared about was shepley and mare

  “I have seen things that would make Sir Isaac Newton crawl back into his mothers womb” 

  AMAZING cinematography wow I was in awe of how this entire film was shot. The use of the natural lights/candlelight & all the angles illuminating the darkness, made for such a breathtaking shot each time. Stellar acting performances.

  …. Wish the vampire was hotter though. Could get behind his whole obsessive vibe more then, just saying.🤷🏻‍♀️

  I’ve never had a particular answer for “who is your favourite director?”, until I came across Wong Kar-Wai. He is 100% a contender. I have only seen 2 of his films, but both left such an impression on me. I am very intrigued to watch more.
