Kinda speechless. Not much else to be said that people haven’t said, but they’re all right. One of the most emotionally depth films I’ve seen in a while. I feel pretty confident that this will be one of those films that doesn’t get nearly enough consideration at the Oscars, but will have a bigger legacy than any of the films that were nominated and won.

Fargo 1996
Hit mid 60s today in Washington so it only felt right to put this on.
First time rewatching this since finishing the Fargo series, and the amount of references from the film in the series is so cool to see. Just a perfectly crafted film. Oh what the Christ! This is a masterpiece!

The Boys in the Boat 2023
Glad this was a movie about being on the water so it could somewhat cancel out how dry these characters were.
Technically this was pretty solid, great sound design and Desplat’s score was great as per usual as well as interesting cinematography at points. Race sequences were also pretty great actually had my heart racing.
