Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
honest to god i was feeling this movie fairly well in the first part, definitely solid and understood why people really liked it
and then part 2 started unfolding and it just completely floored me
there's so many themes that are tackled in this movie, from absurdism and nihilism, generational divide, depression, the meaning of our lives and cosmic destiny. the moment where the climax hits and joy/evelyn go through many dimensions to reconnect is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen.
also it was funny i fucking died at raccacoonie

a masterpiece. the entire movie constantly builds on itself, building in tension and atmosphere. anton is an all-time villain and bringer of fate, llewelyn is someone you legitimately root for the entire movie, and tommy lee jones is a phenomenal analogy for how eras change but men stay the same.
