The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover 1989
amazing costume and set design. always love jean paul gautier work in costume design. the plot wasn’t for me though, i enjoy a freaky-deaky-filthy-john-waters type of disgusting but this was too wife-beating-humiliating-torture from a sociopath type of disgusting for my taste. the man killed a dog. i will say they did an amazing job with the ending.
