  I wish movies like this still got directed and produced. Firstly, it's rather refreshing with it's environment, since it's one of the few apocalyptic/infection movies to start in a very rural town. There is only a thousand people in this particular town, and it really shows with the directing.   Rewatched it fully this time and…I came out a different person. Good premise and gore, horrible acting and logic. Soundtrack also isn’t bad, the disturbing chimes carried the seriousness. Definitely came from a Chinese Lab, they want that island so badly.

  Not surprised in the slightest that the director is making the Crossed.
