i watched this on a plane to ireland, so i think that added to my enjoyment of this movie.
definitely very shyamalan, but not just a rehashed version of m. night’s work. ishana has some directing chops! it’s super impressive that this is a directorial debut from a 24 year old, even if she was essentially born into filmmaking.
really interesting concept that can definitely be rough around the edges. like the characters’ backstories were clearly an afterthought, painfully obvious.…
