Moonstruck 1987
When it works it works, Cher and Cage are both on different spectrums of self obsession in this their characters mix in such an interesting and fun way.
My expectations for what this movie was going to be didn’t quite align with what it is but what it is is lovely and I’m sure when I revisit it I’ll settle into this New York fantasy a little easier.
The chemistry between the whole cast is great and the comedic moments played so realistically that, while making the movie a really enjoyable watch, almost disconnected me from the heightened aspects of the romance.

My Dinner with Andre 1981
I think you could come back to this movie every year of your life and a different 10 minutes would feel so specific to you and provide an insight that you needed or a perspective to hear that even if you disagree with you hadn’t considered and just hearing it reinforced your own perspective. It’s such an interesting film. Maybe I should come back to it every year.
