Cronenburg you sly sly dog predicting the future and what not

I absolutely loved this movie from the minute it starts, you are instantly thrown into the story without any nonsense getting in the way. Very very meta, and incredibly complex if you think about how deep it goes. I’m not sure exactly what I just watched, but I think I liked it?

If I had to shove this movie in a nutshell I would probably describe it as a Culty Horny Homunculus Tentacle Trip that’s a little bipolar with comedy mixed throughout. Very interesting watch and I’m still trying to fully understand the metaphorical allusions!

This Truly is a Work of Art
Hand drawn stop motion animation will always be special but this movie just did an incredible job of mixing beautiful art with really good storytelling, and what an incredible soundtrack throughout the whole entire film. Every frame is so artistic and you can feel the passion and expression of the artists from the start of the title screen to the fading view of the city as the movie comes to a close. Highly recommend watching this with your mom!

This film is visually stunning and super artistic with every frame being a painting or drawing. Packed full with metaphorical commentary, I really enjoyed this and felt that I was able to connect with a lot of the…
