Dear Evan Hansen 2021
The music is the strongest part of this film, unfortunately overshadowed by how badly written this story is. On the other hand, perhaps some of the songs stand out this much, precisely because of how weak the whole film is.
Generally, it's a very uncomfortable (not in a good way) and weird story that is unnecessarily prolonged with mediocre directing.

What a beautiful, touching piece of cinema... The themes of migration, loss, accepting the loss and change are piercing to the bones.
Directing treated with gentleness and respect for pauses, acknowledging that long silences in human relations are as crucial as long conversations.
