  They don’t make em like this anymore because you have to give your Uber drivers a destination. 

  I saw this a long time ago, under appreciated it, and kind of mind melded it with Up In The Air. This is a perfect movie, one of the best of the century.

  Influential and interesting in moments. But as a complete film I found the dramatic sensibilities of the time distracting and ineffective. I wanted to like it more but even with its brief runtime it felt like a drag.

  A movie that works as a sweeping metaphor for war and the self destructiveness of man, as well as a focused, intimate, funny, break up story. 

  Banshees is very funny, but also profoundly dark. 

  The leads, and their core relationship feel fully realized and complex. 

  While the actions taken by the characters are hyper dramatic and extreme, they effectively land, and do not feel out of step with the world the movie builds.
