Imagine that, I'd never seen this before today. I was sure I had.
It starts off so well, and then in strides Dunaway with her slinky charms, and you think this is going to be a great game of cat and mouse. But it bogs down quickly, and the second half is occasional montages and dull banter, and all the style in the world doesn't help these empty caricatures breathe. Sexy? It has its moments. But what a waste of two incredibly charismatic performers.

ARCTIC VOID is disappointing. It gets off to a deceptively simple, promising, and likable start. The script keeps mysteries plainly unstated. But as the film wears on it becomes clear that there are no big surprises, there are no *moments*. There is just a wait, and curiosity...and then in a couple of lines of dialogue a vague answer is given, and a few minutes later it ends abruptly, leaving you puzzled. It is very unsatisfying. It almost feels like a film where production was halted before the final week's shooting could be completed.
