  On a whim I decided to watch my Blu-ray with my headphones. Jesus Christ the sound design is amazing. Never realized how appropriate the score was and how much effort was put into the ambient sound. Like during the opening when Somerset was trying to fall asleep to the metronome and I could still hear the hustle and bustle of the city. Makes sense because the movie emphasizes this city is a terrible place to live. Not just visually unpleasant…

  Think I’m being nitpicky and not used to the PlayStation like animation but I couldn’t connect to the animals. I feel more invested watching real ones on a nature documentary. Perhaps the animal version of uncanny valley?
