What a terrible sequel! Supercheap, ultra sleazy, not funny and just overall badly made.
Feels at times like a psycho killer tried to make a horror comedy.

Is it great? No! But it is gruesome, sleazy fun and pretty crazy.
Still haven't seen the original, but this one a couple of times, it's just insane that they made a movie this gruesome, with all that nudity and gave it a relatively high budget.
Aja really doesn't hold back with his remakes and created quite literally a bloodbath here.
Could have been funnier and a bit less mean spirited though. But for a remake and 3d Horrorfilm from the 2000nds,its pretty solid.
This was fucking awesome!
Really loved how they delved into the world which previous mad max movies and especially fury road showed and it does tell the origins of the area which is the battlefield of fury road, rather well.
The most dense and fleshed out story in the mad max universe and also the longest movie, which you don't really feel, it went by really quick and still feels like a saga.
I'm glad I have watched it in…
This recently hit mubi and as I heard a lot of good things about it and liked revenge I wanted to check this one out.
It's an effective body horror, psychological thriller and satire movie for like two thirds of its runtime, and then it turns into a kind of schlocky over the top horror comedy, but it's very aware of what's going on and celebrates it. Didn't expect to be reminded of Japanese splatter movies in the end but there we go.
It's interesting and unique and I was thoroughly entertained by it, this time the positive buzz was definitely justified.
