  This is such a letdown. It misses the mark of the original and ends up being a shallow, poorly done version of what should have been a powerful story. One of the biggest issues is how they handle Oh Dae-su's character. In the original, even though he was a terrible father, you could see that he still cared about his daughter—like remembering her birthday and wanting to be part of her life. But in this English version, they just hammer…
