Kung Fu Panda 4 2024
I’m a sucker for the series. They are starting to really stretch with a 4th installment but this is still fun. Feels kind of like a long episode of a tv show or direct to video sequel. But Po is still fun to watch and I liked his dads being secondary mains.

I’m not familiar with the Kurosawa film this is adapting but damn if this didn’t cement the need to watch it. A lot to love here most notably for me the performance from Nighy. The subject material is obviously difficult to watch and while we know the whole time where we are going doesn’t make it any less challenging to watch but despite its closeness to death and sadness the movie had an incredibly uplifting feeling that made me want to run out to do 7 things off my to do list. Def recommend this one
