Kind of fun seeing a much earlier adaptation of something I know so well, but it’s rough going. All of the dialogue is exposition and the Gimli and Legolas erasure is inexcusable, in addition to Aragorn only showing up in the last 20 minutes.

Has its moments but you really feel that over two hour runtime. The voice acting is fine, but I can’t help but feel that the siege itself is uninspired and boring.
