The Green Knight 2021
I feel like this script was greenlight to check a box. It was a category and period piece that the studio said "well, I guess we haven't done this yet. Let's approve it."
The story was dull and unfulfilling. I know it relates to other stories/history but it should still hold up without that.
But besides the actually story the rest of the film was SPECTACULAR. The cast, cinematography, special effects, sound, score, wardrobe, set decorations, acting. All of that will carry this film pretty far but I found myself bored because of the story and lack of character development.
