    THREE adjectives to describe the soundtrack of "Eraserhead":

    1. Distressing: The constant yet unidentifiable noise that remains in the background for the majority of the film instilled a state of distress within me. It reminds me of the sound that a television's speakers make when nothing is really playing but the screens are on (not white noise exactly, but similar). The sounds seem to be a reflection of Henry's own anxiety and fears.
