  THREE adjectives to describe the soundtrack of "Eraserhead":

  1. Distressing: The constant yet unidentifiable noise that remains in the background for the majority of the film instilled a state of distress within me. It reminds me of the sound that a television's speakers make when nothing is really playing but the screens are on (not white noise exactly, but similar). The sounds seem to be a reflection of Henry's own anxiety and fears.

  In the second part of High and Low, the story moves from the confines of Gondo's house to the fast paced streets of Japan. There are a few interesting things I have noticed about the film. I know that the original Japanese title is "Heaven and Hell", and there are references to this.
