A lot of really great moments and symbolism. The Templar scenes were hard, the effects were great, the last arc felt kind of weak though.

An utterly inspiring film.
The boat slowly being pulled at 45°, the enigmatic and vaguely threatening Indians, the sheer joy and vision of Fitzcarraldo played by Klaus Kinski. It all feels like it could fall apart at any moment.
Fitzcarraldo is different than everyone around him and it’s obvious at a glance. All the sets feel so alive, he’s perfectly out of place everywhere he is.
