The book is absolutely stellar, taking the Chief's perspective throughout, but this is still a great movie on its own.

A really good film, but I feel like it falls a bit flat as an adaptation. A lot of the satire appeal of the book comes from the massive spans of banality that are punctuated by larger and larger displays of brutality as the book progresses.
