Where the Crawdads Sing 2022
Tbh I enjoyed the movie more than the book. I feel like that’s illegal to say 😂 but I felt like the book draaaaaged with probably the first 100+ pages. Good story and depiction, but I wasn’t feeling it. The movie was way more short and sweet and to the point, which I liked.

The connection (or lack there of) between the Gordy/UFO story line knocked down my score; simply because it had a lot of set up/backstory with a thin line to connect them really. At least it felt that way to me. The Gordy story could have been a different movie or something. Besides that, this movie kept me engaged throughout!
