A great documentary on the legendary Luther Vandross, delving through his life and career in a stellar way; from his times with Listen My Brother all the way down to his 20+ years of success. A few personal hiccups along the way such as his battle with diabetes, his weight loss as well as his love life... and it was unfortunate to see Patti LaBelle basically get called out for talking about Luther's sexuality post-death (which I do understand, I do put it more on the platform and the host though).

Nothing much to say, honestly, this was just an enjoyable and touching doc.

Paul Thomas Anderson delivers once again with the writing, and Joaquin Phoenix gives…

Gotta give it up to Spike Lee for still going strong almost 35 years later, especially with his new film that finally dropped today. I’ve been waiting on this for a while now and this was so worth it! Da 5 Bloods does such a stellar job making a point about black people being in the Vietnam War, on the front lines fighting and giving so much for a country that doesn’t even give two shits about you. And it’s…
